Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near electrical connection on a solid, level floor with proper ventilation space around the refrigerator.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, tape, and protective films from the refrigerator interior and exterior.
- Level the Refrigerator: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the refrigerator is level from front to back and side to side for proper door operation.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
- Water Line Connection (Ice Maker): Connect the water supply line to the refrigerator's water inlet valve if your model includes an ice maker or water dispenser.
- Initial Setup: Allow the refrigerator to stand upright for at least 4 hours before plugging in to allow compressor oil to settle.
- Initial Cooling: Turn on the refrigerator and allow it to cool for 24 hours before adding food for optimal performance.
