Ice Maker System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Water line kit (if not included)
  • Teflon tape

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Refrigerator Location: Ensure refrigerator is positioned near water supply line and electrical outlet.
  2. Connect Water Supply: Connect 1/4-inch copper water line to refrigerator water inlet valve. Use compression fitting.
  3. Install Water Filter: Insert compatible water filter into filter housing and twist clockwise until it stops.
  4. Flush Water System: Run 2 gallons of water through the dispenser to clear air and carbon particles from new filter.
  5. Activate Ice Maker: Lift the ice maker feeler arm to the "up" position to begin ice production cycle.
  6. Initial Ice Production: Allow 24 hours for first batch of ice. Discard first two batches for cleanest ice.
  7. Test Operation: Verify ice production and check for leaks at all water connections.
Warning: Installation should be performed by qualified personnel. Ensure water supply pressure is between 20-120 psi.

Troubleshooting
