Gas & Electric Models

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench (gas models)
  • Voltage tester
  • Tape measure

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with adequate clearance from cabinets.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the range.
  3. Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect to gas supply using approved flexible connector. Apply pipe thread sealant and check for leaks with soap solution.
  4. Electrical Connection (Electric Models): Connect to dedicated 240V circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  5. Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Install anti-tip bracket to wall or floor as specified in instructions to prevent tipping.
  6. Position the Range: Carefully slide range into position, ensuring it's level and properly aligned with cabinets.
  7. Final Checks: Verify all connections are secure, install burner caps and grates, and test all functions.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Burner won't ignite (Gas) Gas supply off, clogged burner ports, wet igniter Check gas supply, clean burner ports, allow igniter to dry
