Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Gas leak detector solution
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe thread sealant
- Level
- Tape measure
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from flammable materials and with adequate clearance from overhead cabinets.
- Prepare Countertop: Cut countertop opening according to dimensions specified in the manual. Ensure cutout is clean and smooth.
- Gas Connection: Connect to gas supply using approved flexible gas connector. Apply pipe thread sealant to all connections.
- Check for Leaks: Apply gas leak detector solution to all connections. Bubbles indicate leaks - tighten connections if needed.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet for ignition system and controls.
- Secure Cooktop: Place cooktop into cutout and secure with mounting brackets provided. Ensure cooktop is level.
- Test Operation: Test all burners for proper ignition, flame adjustment, and safety features.
