Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench
  • Tape measure
  • Gas leak detector solution

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with access to gas and electrical connections.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the range.
  3. Gas Connection: Connect to a 1/2" NPT gas supply line using an approved flexible gas connector. Apply pipe joint compound to male threads only.
  4. Check for Gas Leaks: Apply leak detector solution to all gas connections. Bubbles indicate a leak - tighten connections and retest.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  6. Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Install the anti-tip bracket to the floor or wall according to instructions to prevent tipping.
  7. Slide Into Position: Carefully slide the range into position, ensuring it engages with the anti-tip bracket.
  8. Test Operation: Test all burners, oven, and controls to ensure proper operation.
Warning: All gas installations must be performed by a qualified installer in accordance with local codes. Failure to properly install the anti-tip bracket can result in death or serious injury.
