Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench
  • Tape measure
  • Gas leak detector solution

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with access to gas and electrical connections.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the gas range.
  3. Gas Connection: Connect to a 1/2" natural gas supply line using an approved flexible gas connector. Apply pipe joint compound to male threads only.
  4. Check for Gas Leaks: Apply leak detector solution to all gas connections. Bubbles indicate a leak - tighten connections and retest.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet for ignition system and controls.
  6. Level the Range: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the range is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test Operation: Test all burners, oven, and broiler functions to ensure proper operation before regular use.
Warning: Gas range installation must be performed by a qualified technician in accordance with local codes. Improper installation can cause gas leaks, fire, or carbon monoxide poisoning.
