Gas Range with Convection

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pipe wrench
  • Gas leak detector solution
  • Tape measure

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with access to gas and electrical connections.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all packaging materials, protective films, and shipping bolts from the oven and range.
  3. Gas Connection: Connect to appropriate gas supply line using approved flexible gas connector. Use pipe sealant suitable for gas connections.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC outlet. Ensure circuit is dedicated to the oven.
  5. Ventilation Check: Verify proper ventilation system is in place and functional before operation.
  6. Level the Range: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the range is perfectly level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Gas Leak Test: Apply leak detector solution to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak - tighten connections and retest.
  8. Test Run: Perform initial burn-in by operating all burners and oven functions to check for proper operation and flame characteristics.
Warning: Gas appliance installation must be performed by a qualified technician or licensed gas fitter to ensure safety and maintain warranty coverage.

Troubleshooting
