Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper location and clearances.

  1. Position the refrigerator: Allow at least 1 inch clearance on sides and back for ventilation.
  2. Level the refrigerator: Adjust front leveling legs to ensure doors close properly.
  3. Connect water line (optional): For ice maker and water dispenser, connect to cold water supply using 1/4-inch copper tubing or approved water line kit.
  4. Plug into dedicated 115V, 60Hz grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Allow refrigerator to stabilize for 24 hours before loading food.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people to move. Ensure floor can support weight. Do not install near heat sources.

First-Time Setup

After installation, follow these steps to prepare for use.

  1. Set temperatures: Press and hold TEMP buttons to set fresh food compartment to 37°F (3°C) and freezer to 0°F (-18°C).
  2. Activate ice maker: Lift the wire signal arm to the ON (up) position.
  3. Flush water system: Dispense and discard first 3 gallons of water to clear air and particles.
  4. Install water filter: Insert filter and run water for 5 minutes to prime.
  5. Load food: Place items evenly; avoid blocking air vents.

CAUTION! Do not use sharp objects to remove ice. Keep children away from installation area.

Temperature Settings: Adjustable from 33°F to 45°F for fresh food, -5°F to 5°F for freezer. Recommended: 37°F fresh food, 0°F freezer.

Filter Reset: Press and hold FILTER RESET for 3 seconds after replacing water filter.

Control Lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to disable panel buttons.

Door Alarm: Sounds if either door is left open for more than 5 minutes.

Connecting Water Line

Required for ice maker and water dispenser operation.

  1. Turn off main water supply.
  2. Connect approved 1/4-inch water line to cold water pipe using saddle valve or compression fitting.
  3. Route line to refrigerator connection at bottom rear.
  4. Connect line to refrigerator inlet valve; hand-tighten only.
  5. Turn on water supply; check for leaks.
  6. Flush line by dispensing water for 3 minutes.

Tip: Use a water line kit designed for refrigerators. Ensure connections are secure to prevent leaks.

Using the Ice Maker & Water Dispenser

Ice maker produces crescent-shaped ice. Water dispenser provides chilled filtered water.

  1. To turn on ice maker: Lift wire signal arm to ON position.
  2. First batch of ice may take 24 hours; discard first two batches.
  3. To dispense water: Press glass against paddle; release to stop.
  4. To dispense ice: Press glass against paddle in ice mode.
  5. Replace water filter every 6 months or when indicator light comes on.
  6. Clean ice bin monthly with mild detergent.

WARNING! Do not use with non-potable water. Use only EveryDrop™ Filter 4. Ensure ice maker is off during cleaning.

Storage Features

Adjustable shelves: Lift front edge to remove/reposition. Humidity-controlled crispers: Slide controls to adjust humidity (HIGH for vegetables, LOW for fruits). Gallon door bins: Hold large containers. Meat drawer: Keeps meat at optimal temperature. Freezer baskets: Organize frozen foods.
