Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Remove all packaging materials.

  1. Position refrigerator: Allow 2 inches clearance at back and sides for ventilation.
  2. Level refrigerator: Adjust front leveling legs for stability.
  3. Connect water supply: Attach water line to shut-off valve (if using dispenser).
  4. Plug into dedicated 115V AC, 60Hz outlet.
  5. Allow 24 hours for cooling before adding food.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people for moving. Ensure floor can support weight.

First-Time Setup

Plug in refrigerator; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Set temperatures: Press TEMP buttons to set refrigerator (37°F recommended) and freezer (0°F recommended).
  2. Activate ice maker: Lift wire signal arm to ON position.
  3. Flush water system: Dispense 2 gallons of water to clear air from lines.
  4. Install water filter: Remove cap, insert filter, turn clockwise until it stops.
  5. Configure door swing: Follow instructions in manual if reversing doors.

CAUTION! Do not use extension cord. Ensure proper grounding.

Temperature Settings: Fridge (34-46°F), Freezer (-6 to 6°F). Lock: Press and hold 3 seconds to lock controls. Filter Reset: Press after filter replacement. Ice Off: Turns off ice maker. Light: Turns interior light on/off. Energy Saver: Reduces condensation in humid environments.

Connecting Water Supply

Required for ice maker and water dispenser.

  1. Turn off main water supply.
  2. Connect 1/4" copper or plastic water line to cold water shut-off valve.
  3. Route line to refrigerator connection at bottom rear.
  4. Connect line to refrigerator inlet valve.
  5. Turn on water and check for leaks.

Tip: Use manufacturer-approved water line kit. Ensure water pressure is 30-120 psi.

Using Ice & Water Dispenser

Dispenser located on front door.

  1. Water: Press glass against water paddle. Release to stop.
  2. Ice: Press glass against ice paddle. Select crushed or cubed with ICE TYPE button.
  3. Child Lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to disable dispenser.
  4. First Use: Discard first 2 gallons of water and first 24 hours of ice.
  5. Cleaning: Wipe with soft cloth; never use abrasive cleaners.

WARNING! Do not use dispenser without water filter installed. Keep children away from dispenser.

Temperature Management

Optimal temperatures: Refrigerator 37°F, Freezer 0°F.

Note: Temperature may vary ±3°F based on usage and room temperature.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning interior. Use mild detergent and warm water.

  1. Exterior: Clean with soft cloth and mild detergent. Stainless steel models: Use manufacturer-approved cleaner.
  2. Interior: Remove shelves and bins. Wash with warm soapy water.
  3. Condenser coils: Vacuum every 6 months (located at back or bottom).
  4. Door seals: Wipe with clean damp cloth.
  5. Dispenser: Clean with soft cloth; run vinegar solution through water system annually.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, ammonia, or bleach on stainless steel. Never steam clean.
