Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper clearance and leveling.

  1. Remove packaging: Remove all tape, foam, and shipping materials.
  2. Position refrigerator: Allow at least 1 inch clearance on sides and back, 2 inches top clearance.
  3. Level the unit: Adjust front leveling legs to ensure doors close properly.
  4. Connect water line: For ice/water dispenser, connect to cold water supply (see Section 7).
  5. Plug into dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15A AC outlet.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people for moving. Ensure floor can support weight.

First-Time Setup

Connecting Water Supply

Required for ice maker and water dispenser.

  1. Turn off main water supply.
  2. Connect 1/4-inch copper water line to cold water pipe using saddle valve.
  3. Route water line to refrigerator connection at bottom rear.
  4. Connect line to refrigerator inlet valve; tighten compression nut.
  5. Turn on water supply; check for leaks.
  6. Flush system by dispensing water for 3 minutes.

Tip: Use manufacturer-approved water line. Do not use plastic tubing.

Using the Dispenser

External dispenser provides chilled water and ice.

  1. Water: Press glass against water paddle; release to stop.
  2. Ice: Select ice type (cubed/crushed). Press glass against ice paddle.
  3. To dispense without glass: Press and hold paddle manually.
  4. Child Lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to disable dispenser.

WARNING! Do not use thin plastic glasses; they may stick to dispenser.

Temperature Management

Maintain optimal temperatures for food safety.

Adjusting Temperatures: Use control panel. Allow 24 hours for stabilization after changes.

Alarms: High temperature alarm sounds if fridge exceeds 46°F for 3 hours. Check door closure and settings.

Vacation Mode: Press and hold VACATION (if equipped) or set fridge to 55°F when away.

Note: Freezer temperature affects ice production. Keep at 0°F for optimal performance.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning interior. Use mild detergent and warm water.
