Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure location meets clearance requirements.

  1. Position refrigerator: Allow at least 1-inch clearance on sides and back, 2-inch top clearance for ventilation.
  2. Level the unit: Adjust front leveling legs so doors close and seal properly.
  3. Connect water line: Use a ¼-inch copper water line and shut-off valve (see section 7).
  4. Plug into dedicated 115V, 60Hz AC outlet.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people to move. Ensure floor can support full weight.

First-Time Setup

After installation, allow refrigerator to stabilize for 24 hours before loading food.

  1. Set temperatures: Press TEMP buttons to set fridge to 37°F (3°C) and freezer to 0°F (-18°C).
  2. Install water filter: Remove cap, insert filter, turn clockwise until it stops.
  3. Flush water system: Dispense and discard first 3 gallons of water to clear air and carbon fines.
  4. Activate ice maker: Lift wire signal arm to ON position.

CAUTION! Do not use mechanical devices to accelerate defrosting. Use only approved water line materials.

Connecting Water Line

Required for ice maker and water dispenser operation.

  1. Turn off main water supply and connect approved ¼-inch water line to cold water pipe.
  2. Route line to refrigerator location, avoiding kinks and high-temperature areas.
  3. Connect line to refrigerator inlet valve at the back (usually bottom left).
  4. Turn water on and check for leaks at all connections.

Tip: Use a water line kit certified to NSF 372. Allow 24 hours for ice production after connection.

Using the Dispenser

Provides chilled filtered water and ice.

  1. Select output: Press WATER for water, ICE once for cubed, twice for crushed.
  2. Activate: Press a sturdy glass against the dispenser pad.
  3. Stop: Remove glass or press pad again.
  4. Replace filter: When FILTER light turns amber (approx. every 6 months).
  5. Clean dispenser area: Wipe with soft, damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.

WARNING! Do not use with containers that are not sturdy. Keep children away from dispenser to avoid injury.

Storage Features

Optimize organization for food preservation.

Tip: Do not block air vents inside refrigerator for proper cooling.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning interior. Use mild detergent and warm water; avoid abrasive cleaners.

  1. Exterior: Clean stainless steel with manufacturer-recommended cleaner and soft cloth.
  2. Interior: Remove shelves and bins; wash with warm, soapy water.
  3. Condenser coils: Vacuum every 6-12 months (located at back or bottom front).
