Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure location meets clearance requirements.

  1. Position the refrigerator: Allow at least 1 inch of space on back and sides, and 2 inches at top for proper air circulation.
  2. Level the refrigerator: Adjust the front leveling legs so the refrigerator is stable and doors close easily.
  3. Connect to water line: Shut off main water supply. Connect a 1/4" copper water line to the refrigerator's water valve inlet.
  4. Plug into a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15- or 20-amp grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Flush the water system: Dispense and discard the first 2 gallons of water to clear the system.

WARNING! The refrigerator is heavy; use two or more people to move it. Do not install near a heat source.

First-Time Setup

After installation, allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to cool completely before adding food.

  1. Set the temperatures: The factory setting is 37°F for the refrigerator and 0°F for the freezer. Adjust using the control panel if needed.
  2. Install the water filter: Remove the filter cap from the grille and install the new EveryDrop™ filter (model EDR3RXD1).
  3. Enable features: Use the control panel to turn on Sabbath Mode, Control Lock, or other special features as desired.
  4. Load food: Organize food items, utilizing the adjustable shelves and bins for optimal storage.

CAUTION! Do not overload the refrigerator. Ensure doors can close and seal properly.

The control panel is located on the exterior dispenser panel.

Buttons: LIGHT, TEMPERATURE SETTINGS (Fridge/Freezer), FILTER RESET, ICE TYPE (Crushed/Cubed), LOCK, SPECIAL FEATURES.

Temperature Settings: Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust fridge (34°F to 46°F) and freezer (-5°F to 5°F) independently. The display shows the set temperature.

Using the Dispenser

The dispenser provides chilled water and three types of ice: Cubed, Crushed, and Slow Pour® (available on some models).

  1. To get water: Press a sturdy glass against the water paddle. Release to stop.
  2. To get ice: Press a glass against the ice paddle. Select your ice type (Cubed or Crushed) first using the ICE TYPE button.
  3. To change the ice type: Press the ICE TYPE button. The icon on the display will change.
  4. Filter status: The FILTER RESET light will illuminate when it's time to replace the water filter (approximately every 6 months).

WARNING! Do not use with containers that are not sturdy glass or plastic. Do not let children hang on the dispenser levers.

Storage Features

Organize food to maximize freshness and energy efficiency.

Tip: Do not block the air vents inside the refrigerator or freezer compartments.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug refrigerator before cleaning interior components (except control panel).

  1. Exterior: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Use a stainless steel cleaner for the finish. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  2. Interior: Wash shelves, bins, and crispers with mild detergent and warm water. Dry thoroughly.
  3. Dispenser Area: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Clean the drip tray regularly.
  4. Condenser Coils: Vacuum the condenser coils (located at the bottom front, behind the grille) every 6-12 months to maintain efficiency.

CAUTION! Never use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or ammonia. Do not pour water into the dispenser area.
