Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper location and clearances.

  1. Position refrigerator: Allow at least 1 inch clearance on sides and back for ventilation.
  2. Level the refrigerator: Adjust front leveling legs to ensure doors close properly.
  3. Connect water line: For ice maker and water dispenser, connect to cold water supply using approved tubing.
  4. Plug into dedicated 115V, 60Hz AC outlet.
  5. Allow 24 hours for cooling before adding food.

WARNING! Do not install near heat sources. Ensure water line connections are tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

After installation, follow these steps to prepare for use.

  1. Set temperatures: Adjust refrigerator to 37°F (3°C) and freezer to 0°F (-18°C).
  2. Enable ice maker: Lift the wire signal arm to ON position.
  3. Flush water system: Dispense and discard first 2 gallons of water to clear air and particles.
  4. Adjust door bins and shelves as needed for storage.
  5. Activate door alarm if desired (default is ON).

CAUTION! Do not overload shelves. Distribute food evenly for proper air circulation.

Temperature Controls: Two sliding controls for refrigerator and freezer. Settings range from 1 (warmest) to 9 (coldest). Recommended: Refrigerator at 5, Freezer at 5.

Energy Saver Switch: Located near temperature controls. Use ON in humid conditions to reduce condensation; OFF in normal conditions.

Door Alarm: Sounds if either door is open for more than 5 minutes. Can be disabled by pressing and holding the refrigerator temperature control for 3 seconds.

Ice Maker On/Off: Controlled by wire signal arm. UP for ON, DOWN for OFF.

Using the Dispenser

External dispenser provides chilled water and ice cubes.

  1. To dispense water: Press glass against water paddle.
  2. To dispense ice: Press glass against ice paddle (cubed ice).
  3. To change ice type (if equipped): Press and hold ice type button for 3 seconds.
  4. Child lock: Press and hold LOCK button for 3 seconds to disable dispenser pads.

Tip: Allow 24 hours after installation for first ice production. Discard first two batches of ice.

Storage Features

Optimize organization to maintain freshness and efficiency.

  1. Spill-proof glass shelves: Adjust height by lifting front edge and repositioning on support rails.
  2. Humidity-controlled crispers: Slide control to HIGH for vegetables, LOW for fruits.
  3. Gallon door bins: Store large bottles and containers.
  4. Meat keeper: Lower shelf in refrigerator maintains optimal temperature for meats.
  5. Freezer baskets: Two full-width baskets for organized frozen food storage.

WARNING! Do not block air vents inside refrigerator or freezer compartments.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning interior. Use mild detergent and warm water; rinse and dry.

  1. Exterior: Clean with soft cloth and mild detergent. Stainless steel models: Use manufacturer-recommended cleaner.
  2. Interior: Remove shelves and bins; wash in warm soapy water.
