Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper location and clearances.

  1. Remove packaging: Remove all tape, foam, and shipping materials.
  2. Position refrigerator: Place on a level floor with at least 1-inch clearance on sides and back for ventilation.
  3. Connect water line: Connect a 1/4-inch copper water supply line to the shut-off valve and refrigerator inlet.
  4. Plug into dedicated 115V, 60Hz AC outlet.
  5. Allow 24 hours for cooling and ice production to stabilize.

WARNING! Do not install near a heat source. Ensure water line connection is secure to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

Plug in refrigerator; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Set temperatures: Press and hold TEMP buttons to set fresh food compartment to 37°F (3°C) and freezer to 0°F (-18°C).
  2. Dispenser lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to enable/disable dispenser controls.

Using the Dispenser

Dispenses cubed ice, crushed ice, and chilled water.

  1. Select ice type: Press CRUSHED ICE or CUBED ICE button.
  2. Dispense ice: Press glass against ice paddle.
  3. Dispense water: Press glass against water paddle.
  4. Stop dispensing: Remove glass.

Tip: First-time use may produce discolored or odd-tasting ice/water; discard initial batches.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning interior. Use mild detergent and warm water; avoid abrasives.

  1. Exterior: Clean with soft cloth and mild detergent. Wipe stainless steel with grain.
  2. Interior: Remove shelves and bins; wash with warm, soapy water.
  3. Dispenser: Wipe with damp cloth; clean ice bucket monthly.
  4. Condenser coils: Vacuum every 6-12 months (located at rear or bottom).

CAUTION! Do not use harsh cleaners, ammonia, or steel wool on stainless steel.

Replacing the Water Filter

Replace filter every 6 months or when indicator light comes on.

  1. Locate filter: Inside refrigerator compartment, upper left corner.
  2. Turn filter 1/4 turn counterclockwise to remove.
  3. Insert new filter (remove protective caps); turn clockwise until it stops.
  4. Flush system: Dispense 2-3 gallons of water.
