Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper location and clearances.

  1. Position refrigerator: Allow at least 1 inch clearance on sides and back for ventilation.
  2. Level the unit: Adjust front leveling legs so refrigerator is stable and doors close properly.
  3. Connect water line: Shut off water supply; connect approved water line to inlet valve.
  4. Plug into dedicated 120V AC outlet.

First-Time Setup

Temperature Settings: Fresh Food (34°F to 46°F), Freezer (-5°F to 5°F). Ice Options: Cubed or crushed ice selection. Energy Saver: Reduces condensation; recommended for low-humidity environments. Filter Reset: Press and hold for 3 seconds after filter replacement. Dispenser Lock: Prevents accidental activation.

Using the Dispenser

Dispenses water and ice (cubed or crushed).

  1. Select ice type: Press ICE TYPE to choose cubed or crushed.
  2. For water: Press glass against water paddle.
  3. For ice: Press glass against ice paddle (cubed) or lever (crushed).
  4. To stop: Remove glass or press paddle/lever again.

Tip: Use sturdy glasses; do not use thin glassware. First few batches of ice may be discolored or misshapen.

Temperature Management

Accu-Chill™ System maintains consistent temperatures.

  1. Monitor temperatures: Use built-in thermometers or external thermometer.
  2. Adjust settings: Use control panel to fine-tune fresh food and freezer temps.
  3. Maximize efficiency: Avoid frequent door openings; ensure seals are clean and tight.
  4. Adaptive defrost: System automatically initiates defrost when needed.
  5. Energy Saver: Activate in low-humidity conditions to reduce condensation.

WARNING! Do not block air vents inside compartments. Allow hot foods to cool before placing inside.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning interior. Use mild detergent and warm water; rinse and dry.

Exterior: Clean with soft cloth and mild cleaner. Interior: Remove shelves and bins; wash separately. Gaskets: Wipe with damp cloth. Condenser coils: Vacuum every 6 months (located at back or bottom).

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects. Never clean glass shelves with hot water when cold.

Filter Replacement

Replace water filter every 6 months or when indicator light turns on.

  1. Locate filter: Inside refrigerator compartment (upper right).
  2. Turn filter counterclockwise to remove.
  3. Insert new EveryDrop™ Filter EDR1RXD1; turn clockwise until it clicks.
  4. Flush system: Dispense 3 gallons of water to clear air.
  5. Reset filter light: Press and hold FILTER RESET for 3 seconds.
