Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper clearance for doors and ventilation.

  1. Position the refrigerator: Allow at least 1 inch of space on sides and back, and 2 inches at top for ventilation.
  2. Level the refrigerator: Adjust front leveling legs so doors close and seal properly.
  3. Connect to water line: Attach the water supply line to the shut-off valve and refrigerator inlet (for ice maker and dispenser).
  4. Plug into a dedicated 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use an extension cord. Ensure water line connections are tight to prevent leaks. Refrigerator is heavy; use two people for moving.

First-Time Setup

After installation, allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach optimal temperature.

  1. Turn on the refrigerator: Plug in and ensure power is supplied.
  2. Set temperatures: Use the electronic controls to set refrigerator to 37°F (3°C) and freezer to 0°F (-18°C).
  3. Activate ice maker: Lift the wire signal arm to the ON (up) position.
  4. Flush the water system: Dispense and discard the first 2 gallons of water to clear the system.
  5. Load food: Allow the refrigerator to cool fully before adding food.

CAUTION! Do not overload shelves. Ensure doors close completely after loading.

The control panel is located inside the refrigerator compartment on the upper right wall.

Controls: TEMPERATURE SET (for fridge and freezer), FILTER RESET, ICE ON/OFF, LOCK CONTROLS, DOOR ALARM ON/OFF.

Temperature Settings: Use the + and - buttons to adjust. Recommended settings are 37°F for fridge and 0°F for freezer. Filter Reset: Press and hold for 3 seconds after replacing the water filter to reset the indicator light. Control Lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to prevent accidental changes. Door Alarm: Can be disabled if door is left open for more than 5 minutes.

Using the Water & Ice System

The dispenser provides chilled water and ice (cubed or crushed).

  1. To get water: Press a glass against the water paddle.
  2. To get ice: Press the glass against the ice paddle (select cubed or crushed with the button).
  3. Replace the water filter: When the FILTER STATUS light turns red, replace the EveryDrop™ Filter 4. Turn filter counterclockwise to remove, insert new filter and turn clockwise until it stops.
  4. Turn ice maker on/off: Lift or lower the wire signal arm inside the freezer.

Tip: Allow 24 hours for the ice maker to produce the first batch of ice after installation or reset.

Storage Features

Optimize organization using adjustable components.

  1. Adjustable Glass Shelves: Lift front of shelf to reposition or remove for cleaning.
  2. Humidity-Controlled Crispers: Slide controls to HIGH for vegetables, LOW for fruits.
  3. Door Bins: Adjust height by squeezing the bin clips and moving up or down.
  4. Freezer Baskets: Slide out for easy access to frozen items.

WARNING! Do not place hot food directly into the refrigerator. Allow it to cool first to maintain efficiency.

Care & Cleaning
