Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Position refrigerator in final location.

  1. Level the refrigerator: Adjust front leveling legs so refrigerator is stable and doors close easily.
  2. Connect water supply (for dispenser): Shut off main water supply. Connect 1/4" copper water line to refrigerator inlet valve.
  3. Plug into dedicated 115V AC outlet.
  4. Allow 24 hours for ice production to begin after initial startup.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people to move. Ensure water line connections are tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

Plug in refrigerator; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Set temperatures: Press and hold TEMP buttons to set refrigerator to 37°F (3°C) and freezer to 0°F (-18°C).
  2. Dispenser lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to enable/disable dispenser controls.
  3. Flush water system: Dispense and discard first 1-2 gallons of water to clear air from lines.

Connecting Water Supply

Required for ice maker and water dispenser operation.

  1. Turn off main water supply and connect a 1/4" O.D. copper water line to a cold water line.
  2. Route the water line to the refrigerator connection at the back, lower left.
  3. Connect the line to the refrigerator inlet valve and tighten.
  4. Turn water on and check for leaks at all connections.

Tip: Use only drinking water approved tubing. Do not use plastic or PVC pipe.

Using the Dispenser

Dispenses chilled water and ice (cubed or crushed).

  1. Select ice type: Press ICE TYPE to toggle between Cubed and Crushed.
  2. For water: Press a glass against the water paddle. Release to stop.
  3. For ice: Press a glass against the ice paddle. Release to stop.
  4. To turn off ice production: Lift the ice maker feeler arm until it clicks and locks in the UP position.
  5. Dispenser lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to prevent accidental dispensing.

WARNING! Do not use a thin-walled glass. Children should be supervised. Keep fingers clear of dispenser openings.

Food Storage Features

Adjustable Shelves: Lift front of shelf to reposition. Humidity-Controlled Crispers: Slide control to HIGH for vegetables, LOW for fruits. Gallon Door Bins: Designed for large bottles and jugs. Freezer Baskets: Pull out for easy access to frozen items.
