Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper location with adequate clearance.

  1. Remove packaging: Remove all tape, foam, and cardboard.
  2. Position refrigerator: Place on level floor with at least 1-inch clearance on sides and back, 2-inch clearance at top.
  3. Adjust leveling legs: Turn front leveling legs to ensure refrigerator is level and doors close properly.
  4. Connect water line: For ice/water dispenser, connect to cold water supply (see Section 7).
  5. Plug into grounded electrical outlet: Use dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15-amp circuit.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people to move. Do not use extension cord.

First-Time Setup

Plug in refrigerator; allow 24 hours for cooling before adding food.

  1. Set temperatures: Press TEMP buttons to set refrigerator to 37°F (3°C) and freezer to 0°F (-18°C).
  2. Dispense water: Flush water system by dispensing 2-3 gallons to clear air and impurities.
  3. Make ice: Discard first batch of ice (about 24 cubes).
  4. Adjust shelves: Configure shelves and bins to suit storage needs.

CAUTION! Do not overload refrigerator. Allow space for air circulation.

Controls and Settings

Control panel located on dispenser front. Buttons: TEMP (fridge/freezer), LOCK, FILTER, LIGHT, ALARM RESET.

Temperature Settings: Press TEMP buttons to adjust (range: fridge 34-46°F, freezer -6 to 6°F). Display shows set temperature.

Controls Lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to disable dispenser and controls (prevents accidental changes).

Filter Reset: After replacing water filter, press and hold FILTER for 3 seconds to reset indicator.

Interior Light: LED lighting; press LIGHT to turn on/off manually when door is open.

Alarms: Door ajar alarm sounds after 3 minutes; press ALARM RESET to silence.

Connecting Water Line

Required for ice maker and water dispenser.

  1. Turn off main water supply.
  2. Connect 1/4" copper or plastic water line to cold water pipe using saddle valve or tee fitting.
  3. Route line to refrigerator connection at bottom rear (left side).
  4. Connect line to refrigerator inlet valve; tighten by hand plus 1/4 turn with wrench.
  5. Turn on water; check for leaks.
  6. Flush line (see First-Time Setup).

Tip: Use NSF-certified water line. Do not use previously used line.

Using the Ice & Water Dispenser

Dispenser offers cubed ice, crushed ice, and chilled water.

  1. Select ice type: Press CUBED or CRUSHED button (light indicates selection).
  2. Dispense ice: Press glass against ice paddle; release to stop.
  3. Dispense water: Press glass against water paddle; release to stop.
  4. Child lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to disable dispenser.

Ice Maker: Automatically produces ice when freezer is at 0°F. To turn off, lift wire signal arm.

WARNING! Do not use dispenser without glass; may cause spills.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning interior. Use mild detergent and warm water; rinse and dry.

Exterior: Clean with soft cloth and mild detergent. Stainless steel models: use stainless steel cleaner.

Interior: Remove shelves and bins; wash with warm soapy water.

Dispenser: Wipe with damp cloth; clean ice bucket monthly.

Condenser Coils: Vacuum every 6 months (located at rear or bottom front).

Water Filter: Replace EveryDrop™ Filter every 6 months or when indicator light comes on.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects. Do not clean freezer with hot water.
