Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure location meets clearance requirements.

  1. Remove packaging: Take off all tape, foam, and cardboard. Keep the leveling legs retracted.
  2. Position refrigerator: Place on a level floor near a water line and electrical outlet. Allow space for doors to open fully.
  3. Connect water line: Shut off water supply. Connect a 1/4" copper water line to the refrigerator inlet valve.
  4. Plug into electrical outlet: Use a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15-amp outlet.
  5. Level the refrigerator: Adjust the front leveling legs to ensure doors close properly.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people to move. Ensure water connection is tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

After installation, allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to cool before adding food.

  1. Power on: Plug in the refrigerator. The interior lights and control panel should illuminate.
  2. Set temperatures: Use the control panel to set the fresh food compartment to 37°F (3°C) and the freezer to 0°F (-18°C).
  3. Flush the water system: Dispense and discard the first 2 gallons of water to clear the system.
  4. Install the water filter: Remove the cap and install a new EveryDrop™ filter (Model EDR1RXD1). Run water until it flows steadily.
  5. Load food: Arrange items, allowing space for air circulation.

CAUTION! Do not overload shelves. Allow cold air to circulate freely.

Control Panel located on the exterior dispenser face.

Buttons: LOCK (to lock/unlock controls), TEMPERATURE (adjust fridge/freezer), FILTER RESET (reset filter indicator), LIGHT (control interior LED), ALARM (door ajar alarm).

Temperature Settings: Fresh Food (34°F to 46°F), Freezer (-5°F to 5°F). Use TEMPERATURE button and arrow keys to adjust. Filter Indicator: Lights when filter needs replacement (approx. every 6 months). Reset by holding FILTER RESET for 3 seconds. Door Alarm: Sounds if door is open for more than 5 minutes. Press ALARM to silence.

Using the Dispenser

Provides ice (crushed or cubed) and filtered water.

  1. Select ice type: Press the ICE TYPE button to choose between cubed or crushed ice.
  2. Dispense water: Press a glass against the water paddle. Release to stop.
  3. Dispense ice: Press a glass against the ice paddle. Release to stop.
  4. Child Lock: Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to disable the dispenser controls.

Tip: For first use or after filter change, flush system by dispensing 2 gallons of water.

Storage Features

Optimize organization for freshness and convenience.

  1. Humidity-Controlled Crispers: Slide control to HIGH for vegetables, LOW for fruits.
  2. Adjustable Spill-Proof Shelves: Lift front of shelf to reposition or remove for cleaning.
  3. Gallon Door Bins: Adjust height to accommodate tall containers.
  4. Freezer Baskets: Slide out for easy access to frozen items.

WARNING! Do not place hot food directly into refrigerator. Allow to cool first.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning interior. Use mild soap and water; avoid abrasive cleaners.

Exterior: Wipe with a damp cloth and dry. Use stainless steel cleaner for the finish if needed.

Interior: Remove shelves and bins. Wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.

Dispenser: Wipe area with a clean, damp cloth.

Condenser Coils: Vacuum every 6 months for efficiency (located at rear or bottom front).

CAUTION! Do not use sharp objects to remove ice. Never use hot water to defrost.
