Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure location meets clearance requirements.

  1. Remove packaging: Take off all tape, foam, and shipping bolts.
  2. Level the refrigerator: Adjust front leveling legs so unit is stable and doors close easily.
  3. Connect water supply: Shut off main water valve. Connect 1/4" copper tubing to cold water line and refrigerator inlet valve.
  4. Plug into dedicated 115V, 15- or 20-amp grounded electrical outlet.
  5. Allow 24 hours for cooling before adding food.

WARNING! Refrigerator is heavy; use two people to move. Ensure water line connections are tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

Plug in refrigerator; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Set temperatures: Fresh Food compartment default is 37°F; Freezer default is 0°F. Adjust using touchpad.
  2. Enable ice maker: Lift wire signal arm to ON position. Discard first two batches of ice.
  3. Set door alarm: Alarm sounds after 3 minutes if door is ajar. Can be turned off via controls.

Temperature Settings: Adjust Fresh Food (34°F to 46°F) and Freezer (-5°F to 5°F). Press and hold LOCK for 3 seconds to disable controls. Filter Reset: Hold for 3 seconds after replacing filter. Energy Saver: Press to turn on/off. Door Alarm: Press to disable/enable.

Using the Ice & Water Dispenser

Dispenses cubed ice, crushed ice, and chilled water.

  1. Activate dispenser: Press a glass against the water pad or ice paddle.
  2. Select ice type: Press CRUSHED or CUBED button before dispensing.
  3. First use: Discard first two batches of ice and run water for 3 minutes.
  4. To turn off ice maker: Lower wire signal arm.

Tip: Keep glasses centered under dispenser to avoid spills.

Food Storage Features

Optimize storage to maintain freshness.

  1. Humidity-Controlled Crispers: Adjust slider for HIGH (vegetables) or LOW (fruits) humidity.
  2. Adjustable Shelves: Lift front of shelf to reposition.
  3. Door Bins: Adjust height by squeezing clips and lifting.
  4. Meat Drawer: Store meats at bottom of fresh food compartment.

WARNING! Do not store perishable foods in door bins; temperature varies.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning interior. Use mild detergent and warm water; rinse and dry.

Exterior: Clean with soft cloth and mild detergent. Interior: Clean shelves and bins. Dispenser: Wipe with damp cloth. Condenser Coils: Vacuum every 6 months.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects.

Replacing the Water Filter

Replace EveryDrop™ Filter 4 every 6 months or when indicator light turns on.

  1. Turn filter quarter-turn counterclockwise and pull straight out.
  2. Insert new filter (remove cover) and turn clockwise until it stops.
  3. Run water from dispenser for 3 minutes to clear air.
  4. Press and hold FILTER RESET for 3 seconds to reset indicator.

Note: Use only EveryDrop Filter 4 (EDR4RXD1).
