Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect all contents. Choose a suitable location.

  1. Placement: Place on a flat, stable, level countertop. Ensure at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides for proper air circulation.
  2. Power: Plug the power cord directly into a standard 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  3. Environment: Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources (ovens, radiators), and extremely cold areas.

WARNING! Ensure the unit is on a level surface to prevent water leakage and ensure proper operation. Do not place near the edge of the counter.

First-Time Setup

Before first use, clean the ice basket and interior. Follow these steps:

  1. Initial Cleaning: Wipe the interior and ice basket with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  2. Water Fill: Fill the water reservoir with clean, cold drinking water up to the MAX line. Use the provided measuring cup if included.
  3. Power On: Plug in the unit. The Power indicator light should illuminate.
  4. First Cycle: Press the ON/OFF or ICE button to begin the first ice-making cycle. Discard the first batch of ice.

Operating Instructions

For daily use to produce ice.

  1. Ensure the unit is plugged in and the Power light is on.
  2. Fill the water reservoir to the MAX line with clean, cold water.
  3. Press the ON/OFF (ICE) button. You may hear the pump and fan start.
  4. The unit will begin cycling (water pump, freezing, harvesting). The first ice cubes will drop into the basket in approximately 6-15 minutes.
  5. When the "Ice Full" light comes on, remove ice from the basket to resume production.
  6. If the "Add Water" light comes on, pause the unit, refill the reservoir, and restart.
  7. To stop ice production, press the ON/OFF button. The unit will enter standby mode.

Tip: For best performance and ice quality, use cold tap water and place the unit in a cool environment.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and optimal performance.

  1. Daily/Weekly: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth.
  2. Periodic Deep Clean (Every 2-4 weeks):
    • Turn off and unplug the unit.
    • Remove all ice and discard any water in the reservoir.
    • Remove the ice basket and clean it with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
    • Clean the interior evaporator plate and housing with a soft cloth dampened with a mixture of warm water and mild vinegar or lemon juice to remove mineral deposits. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
    • Rinse all cleaned parts with clean water.
    • Open the drain plug (if equipped) over a sink to empty any remaining water. Close the plug securely.
    • Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling and using.

CAUTION! Never immerse the main housing, control panel, or power cord in water. Do not use harsh chemicals, scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners.

Storage

If not using the ice maker for an extended period:

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Remove all ice and water. Use the drain plug to completely empty the reservoir and internal lines.
